The word on the ground is that Kilmuckridge DramaFestival did a wonderful job in their hosting of this year’s All Ireland Confined Drama Final. Reports on the hospiatlity, the welcomes, the attention to detail and the community spirit, suggest that those lucky enough to have spent time in Kilmuckridge were well rewarded with great drama on stage and an abundance of ‘craic’ off-stage. Congratulations to festival director, Michael Johnston and his team for ensuring that the final was a special time for all concerned. The live streaming of the award ceremony on the internet, gave those of us who were not there, the chance to soak up the ambience. A well deserved rest is now in order. ADA congratulates all those groups who took part and in particular the nominees and winners in each category.
The 2016 All Ireland Confined Drama Final will take plcae in the Iontas Theatre and will be hosted by Castleblaney Drama Festival.
