Member Update – Terry Byrne

ADA President, Terry Byrne has been cast in the part of ‘Dandy McCabe’ in the forthcoming Gaiety 50th Anniversary production of The Field by John B Keane with Michael Harding playing the Bull McCabe and an all-star cast directed by Padraic McIntyre. Run commencing on 16 April 2015.
He has just completed production of the film Plato’s Phaedo, an account of the final day in the life of Socrates, before his death in prison by self- administered hemlock. He wrote the hour long screenplay and played the part of Socrates. It will be premiered on Saturday 21 March at a Plato conference in Townley Hall, near Drogheda prior to travelling to Plato conferences worldwide under the auspices of The School of Philosophy Ireland.
